January 2nd saw us return to the Wingate Institute for a full days
training with Eyal and Amnon. The Wingate Institute boasts impressive
training facilities with several large training halls dedicated to
martial arts. We divided into our two groups again and began to look at
defending stick attacks. We covered a multitude of different scenarios,
beginning with the basic technique, then working up to more advanced
application of the principles.
Taking advantage of the fine weather, Eyal arranged access to the beach at the Institute and we concluded the days trainingthere (This was where the Human Weapon Episode on Krav Maga was filmed) We spent a few hours training on preventing stick attacks by dealing with the threat before in became an attack, with Amnon demonstrating a number solutions to the problem.
